Air dry clay- With air dry clay, there is no need to bake it in the oven or use a kiln to fire it. The clay simply hardens with the air. It takes about 24 hours to dry. I have found plastic clay tools at the dollar store before or I will link some here as well for you to check out on Amazon with the clay tools you're teen can sculpt different creations like their favourite animal they could make a bowl for their jewelry. The possibilities are endless after the clay has dried they can apply acrylic paint, and if they want their clay shiny, they can add a coat of Marge podge or mix some white glue with water. Air dry clay is not safe for putting the dishwasher or eating or drinking off of.

Polymer clay kit - A polymer clay kit is kind of similar to air dry clay, but it comes in a lot of different colours, and there's a lot of cute creations that can be made like a little charms, earrings or jewellery.
